FEATURES AND BENEFITS

• Longer lasting tread life

OVERVIEW

The Falken Ziex ZE001 A/S (CZ) is a performance and high performance (depending on the speed rating of the specific tire size) all season tire manufactured for passenger vehicles and SUVs. This model has some touring sizes as well. This specific tire is marked with CZ as it is the original equipment of Subaru vehicles.

The model ensures first-rate all weather traction. The detailed semi-asymmetric tread pattern and the all season tire compound work together to improve the dry, wet and winter weather road gripping ability. The tread elements, with the high-density siping and notch pattern, upgrade the grip the road has on the road surface throughout the year, while the compound keeps its flexible traction even in colder temperatures. The tread's circumferential grooves prevent hydroplaning by dispersing water and slush from below the tire's footprint. This upgrades the tire's all weather performing capability and power.

The tire promotes great controllability. The tread pattern's continuous center rib and wide shoulder blocks boost the steering responsiveness and driving stability by maintaining the tire's road contact at all times. This upgrades the steering's response time and accuracy to the driver's commands, while also stabilizing the structure against the driving pressure affecting the model. The wider shoulder tread blocks upgrade the cornering and maneuvering capability. They increase the number of biting edges gripping the road surface during cornering. The better overall control enables the driver to confidently steer the vehicle throughout the year.

The Ziex ZE001 A/S (CZ) offers a lengthened usability. The tread design's special chamfered block corners and the support tread bars stabilize the tread elements and prevent tread flexing. The stable elements enhance the tire's road contact and enable the tire to evenly circulate the driving pressure along the tread area. The equally spread out forces of acceleration, cornering and braking avoid the formation of irregular tread wear along the tread area, promoting an extended tread life and usability.

Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
