OVERVIEW

The Dunlop Grandtrek PT20 (TO) is a touring, all season tire manufactured for passenger vehicles and SUVs. This specific tire is marked with TO as it is the original equipment of Toyota vehicles.

The model offers excellent controllability by utilizing the tread design. The tread pattern helps maintain the tire's surface contact at all times during its performance. In this manner, the tire boosts the steering responsiveness and the driving stability. The steering becomes faster and more precise, while the structure is stabilized against the driving pressure. The shoulder block placement improves the cornering ability and power. These tread blocks with their siping placement create friction between the tire and the road surface, which increases the maneuvering safety levels throughout the drive.

The tire increases the driving comfort levels while the vehicle is in motion. The tread design and the ideal tire shape work together to keep the tire's close surface contact. This enables the tire to absorb the shock of driving, significantly lowering the road vibrations felt in the vehicle's cabin. On the other hand, the tread design prevents the formation of road and tread pattern noise. The tread negates the soundwaves with a special sound-cancelling frequency it generates during the drive. As road disturbances do not ruin the passenger's driving enjoyment, the tire guarantees a quiet and comfortable driving experience.

The Grandtrek PT20 (TO) improves the all weather traction. The tire uses the all season compound and the optimal tread design to increase the dry, wet and winter weather road gripping capability. The tread design's detailed siping placement enhances the number of biting edges gripping the road surface while the tires are in motion. The compound keeps the rubber flexibility in various temperatures, from the heat of summer to colder winter situations. The tread pattern's circumferential grooves prevent hydroplaning by dispersing water and slush from below the footprint, increasing the wet weather driving safety levels.

Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
