OVERVIEW

The Cosmo Gripit XT is an extreme terrain, all season tire made for light trucks and SUVs. Cosmo offers a 50,000 mile treadwear warranty with this model.

Aggressive tread elements help optimize the tire’s off-road traction. The aggressive tread pattern enables the tire to upgrade the soft, loose, and uneven terrain grip. These elements enable the tire’s forward motion on loose dirt and deeper mud, allowing it to enhance its constant off-road performance. The tread also offers a superb self-cleaning ability. The tread elements eliminate mud, and snow, and eject rocks stuck between the tread elements. In this manner, the tire maintains the ideal surface contact as mud and snow do not cut off the tire’s surface contact. It also combats stone retention. As a result, the tire ensures a safer driving experience.

Constant surface contact improves the tire’s controllability. Aggressive tread elements significantly boost the tire’s surface contact. Steering responsiveness and driving stability effectively enhance the tire’s cornering, handling, and maneuvering. Quick and precise steering responses are guaranteed with this model, while the structure is secured against driving pressure throughout the drive. It effectively boosts its overall cornering and maneuvering capabilities.

Great load and driving durability are ensured with the tire’s reinforced internal structure. The strong compound and the reinforced internal structure work together to increase the heavy-duty handling. These elements maintain the ideal tire shape under load and driving pressure. As the tire does not deform, it can easily carry and withstand heavy loads. This load-carrying capacity makes the model perfectly safe, even under heavy loads.

The Cosmo Gripit XT provides excellent year-round traction. The tire provides great traction in dry, wet, and light winter conditions. This is achieved with the tread design and the durable compound. They work together to generate traction with extra biting edges and to keep the tire pliable throughout the year. On-road hydroplaning is resisted with the tread design that disperses water and slush from the footprint, further enhancing its performance on wet roads.

Extreme Terrain tire types are not designed for regular highway driving. They are primarily designed for off-road applications.

Not all tire sizes are suitable for all vehicle types. Please refer to the item specifications for accurate information about vehicle type fitment for this particular size.

Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
