OVERVIEW
The Cooper Discoverer RTX2 is an all terrain, all weather tire made for light trucks and SUVs.
Great controllability is ensured with this model, even during its year-round, various terrain applications. The aggressive tread pattern maintains constant surface contact during the performance. It increases the tire's steering responsiveness and driving stability. In other words, the steering response time becomes quicker and more accurate to the driver's commands, while the structure is secured against driving pressure. Cornering is upgraded as well, thanks to the wide shoulder blocks and their constant surface contact. As a result, the driver has full control over the vehicle, offering a safe drive.
The tire promotes exceptional on- and off-road traction. The staggered tread blocks, their stiffer tread area, deeper tread, and upper sidewall pattern work together to improve on- and off-road grip. In other words, these tread elements enable the tire to enhance forward motion throughout the performance. These elements allow the tire to upgrade deep mud and loose dirt traction, optimizing traction. These tread elements allow the tire to improve its self-cleaning capability. The footprint eliminates mud and snow from the footprint, while actively resisting stone retention from harming the tire's footprint.
This model provides great all weather traction. The durable compound blend and the stable block placement work together, in order to increase its dry, wet, and winter performance. These elements allow the tire to improve its rubber flexibility throughout the year, including in severe winter conditions. On the other hand, the tread firmly grips the road with extra biting edges, improving its performance. Hydroplaning is prevented with the optimized grooves that disperse water and slush from below the footprint.
This tire guarantees a comfortable on-road drive. The tread design's ideal groove design and pattern help to decrease road noise. The grooves create sound barriers, which prevent sound wave formations while the tires are in motion. Better tread stability avoids tread flexing, which helps to minimize the tread pattern noise generated. As sound waves cannot reach the vehicle's cabin, the tire guarantees a quiet driving experience.
The Cooper Discoverer RTX2 offers superb load and driving durability. The strengthened and flexible carcass structure enables the tire to significantly increase its larger load capacity. Since the construction does not deform under load and driving pressure, the model is able to effectively enhance its heavy-duty applications. This enables the tire's exceptional performance under large loads.
All weather tires receive the three mountain peak and snowflake (3PMS) symbol for their exceptional winter weather performance. They are all season tires with extra winter weather grip, in order to guarantee safer year-round durability. This ensures their true and secure driving ability throughout the year.
Not all tire sizes are suitable for all vehicle types. Please refer to the item specifications for accurate information about vehicle type fitment for this particular size.
Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
