OVERVIEW

The Continental SportContact 7 (AO) is a performance and high performance, summer tire made for passenger vehicles and SUVs. This specific tire is marked with AO as it is the original equipment of Audi vehicles. This model is EV-Ready, meaning these tires are compatible with both electric and traditional vehicles.

The symmetric, directional tread design maintains surface contact for better controllability. The tread design's asymmetric pattern maintains surface contact at all times, upgrading steering responsiveness and driving stability. This model promotes quick and precise steering responses to the driver's commands, while the structure is secured against driving pressure. Cornering is upgraded with the tread design's shoulder blocks, while the tread elements enhance traction to shorten its braking distance. These elements enable the tire's safer performance.

The tire's high speed capability is optimized for maximum safety. The tread design and the strong structure improve the tire's high speed performance. The tread eases the pressure off the tire, reducing pressure build-up while the tires are in motion. At the same time, the structure maintains the ideal tire shape under the driving pressure. As the tire does not deform, it handles high speed durability. This combination enables the tire to securely perform at its best high speed ability.

The tire's grip on summer roads is enhanced. The unique tread design and the summer compound work together to boost dry and wet-weather performance. In other words, this tread design is able to closely follow the road at all times, while the compound prevents heat build-up in warm temperatures. This model also can prevent hydroplaning, by eliminating water from the footprint. As a result, it improves driving safety, even in wet conditions.

The Continental SportContact 7 (AO)'s tread design and rubber compound ensure a quiet performance. The ideal tread design and its close contact with the driving surface lower road and tread noise levels heard in the vehicle's cabin. As road disturbances cannot ruin the passengers' driving enjoyment, the tire guarantees a quiet performance.

Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
