OVERVIEW
The Carlisle Ultra Guard is an all season tire manufactured for industrial vehicles, made for skid steer vehicles.
The tire promotes great damage resistance. The reinforced construction and the stronger compound work together to avoid damage to the casing and tread area. The steel belt structure protects the casing from punctures, cuts and impact damage. On the other hand, the durable compound helps avoid tread damage. The compound protects the tread from chipping, cracking and abrasions. In this manner, the tire prevents different types of damage from shortening the tire's service life.
The model extends the usability. The durable tire compound and the optimal tread design enhance the service life. The reinforced rubber materials keep the rubber flexibility and it utilizes the wear-resistant elements to decrease the tread wear rate. The flat footprint with the wider lug placement ensures even wear across the entire tread area. The equally spread out forces of acceleration, cornering and braking avoid irregular wear formations. In this manner, the tire offers a longer lasting tread life.
The Ultra Guard upgrades the controllability. The tire's excellent footprint upgrades the steering responsiveness and the driving stability. The wider flat lugs are placed in a directional pattern, which upgrades the tire's handling. As a result, the steering is faster and more precise in its response to the driver's commands, while the structure is secured against the driving pressure affecting the model. The strengthened internal structure allows the tire to carry and withstand heavy loads with ease, which increases the load capacity.
This specific tire model features a BIASED ply construction.
There might be discrepancies of sizes between brands and models of tires which have this size formatting. As the manufacturers only provide the tire width and the rim diameter with these tires, various brands and models will have size differences. In order to ensure the correct size is purchased, the overall tire diameter that is needed should be checked.
The Overall Diameter or O.D. advertised represents the tire's overall diameter in inches, once the tire has been properly inflated and mounted per the manufacturer's recommendation. This advertised number is provided to Priority Tire by the tire manufacturer.
Due to the acquisition by Carlstar Tires, Carlisle tires are now manufactured under the Carlstar banner. For this reason, some Carlisle tires might come with the Carlstar brand name stamped on their sidewalls.
Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
