OVERVIEW

The Bridgestone Blizzak LM005 is a performance and high performance, winter tire manufactured for passenger vehicles and SUVs. This model has some touring sizes as well.

This model is able to perform well in harsh winter weather conditions, thanks to the special tread pattern and strong compound materials. These tread elements are able to firmly grip the driving surface and enhance the overall traction, allowing it to perform well on ice- and snow-covered road surfaces. The compound optimizes rubber flexibility and offers a safer driving experience in winter weather conditions. On the other hand, the lateral grooves eliminate water and slush from the footprint, improving the surface contact throughout the performance.

The directional tread elements are able to boost the steering dynamics and driving stability by maintaining a consistent road contact. The zigzag sipe placement boosts the overall traction and improves the steering response time and accuracy to the driver's instructions. In other words, the driver is able to keep superb control over the vehicle, while structure is secured against the driving pressure. This model also enhances the structural stability against the driving pressure.

The Bridgestone Blizzak LM005 promotes exceptional maneuvering ability in various weather conditions. This is thanks to the specially designed shoulders and detailed sipe pattern. These tread features provide a high number of biting edges that grip the driving surface, boosting the cornering and braking power. On the other hand, this tread pattern is also able to lower the rolling resistance and reduce the vehicle's fuel consumption and CO2 emissions. This guarantees a fuel efficient and environmentally friendly driving experience.

Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
