BFGoodrich g-Force Phenom T/A
FEATURES AND BENEFITS
- Summer weather performance
- Improved handling
- High speed durability
OVERVIEW
The BFGoodrich g-Force Phenom T/A is a high performance, summer tire built for passenger vehicles and SUVs.
The optimized tread pattern and the silica-based tire compound enhance the dry and wet-weather performance. The tread elements strengthen the road grip by offering more biting edges. Additionally, the compound blend provides heat resistance, keeping the tire cool during the drive. Hydroplaning is also prevented thanks to the grooves that channel water away from the footprint. This further increases the overall driving safety in the summer season.
The tread design keeps the surface contact at all times, upgrading steering responsiveness and driving stability. This provides a quick and precise steering response, while the structure is secured against the driving pressure affecting the tire. Cornering and braking are also upgraded with the help of many biting edges. The biting edges shorten the overall braking distance by creating friction.
The BFGoodrich g-Force Phenom T/A’s strong structure, particular compound blend, and ideal tread pattern provide high speed controllability. The sturdy tire design doesn’t allow the model to deform under high speed driving pressure, while the heat-resistant compound mitigates the heat build-up. This helps avert blowouts. As a result, the model is protected during the high speed drive, maintaining excellent handling in such conditions.
Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
