OVERVIEW
The BFGoodrich Advantage Control is a performance and high performance, all season tire manufactured for passenger vehicles and SUVs. It has some touring sizes available as well.BFGoodrich offers a 65,000 mile treadwear warranty with V and W speed-rated sizes and a 75,000 mile treadwear warranty with H speed-rated sizes of this model.
The tire improves the year-round traction. The silica compound and the ribbed tread design enhance the dry, wet, and winter-weather grip. The stronger silica compound maintains the rubber flexibility in versatile temperatures, enhancing the summer and winter-weather performance. The symmetric tread design, with the siping and notch pattern, boosts the grip on the road surface with extra biting edges. The tread's circumferential grooves and the Aqua-Flume Technology disperse water and slush from the footprint, resulting in excellent hydroplaning resistance.
The tread design and the better surface contact upgrade controllability. The center ribs of the footprint closely follow the road surface at all times, which boosts steering responsiveness and driving stability. In this manner, the tire has a quicker and more precise steering response to the driver's commands, while the structure is secured against the driving pressure affecting the tire. The silica compound and the reinforced internal structure work together to upgrade the high speed durability. The compound prevents heat build-up during the drive, while the stronger structure keeps the ideal tire shape under the high speed pressure.
The computer-optimized tread elements and the polyester casing improve the comfort levels during the drive. The computer-optimized footprint effectively channels airwaves through the footprint, without allowing them to come into contact with the tread area. This prevents airwaves from generating sound waves, guaranteeing a quiet performance. On the other hand, the polyester casing allows the tire to closely follow the road surface with extra biting edges. This enables the tire to absorb the shock of driving, lowering the road vibrations felt by the passengers. This results in a quiet and comfortable driving experience.
The Advantage Control greatly improves the length of the usability. The computer-optimized tread design boosts the service life. The computer-optimized tread design allows the tire to evenly distribute the driving pressure across the tread area. This avoids irregular wear formations across the tread area. The silica compound prevents heat build-up, minimizing the overall treadwear rate. These tread elements greatly upgrade the tread life.
Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
