OVERVIEW

The Ameritread Xtreme Grip is a performance and high performance, all season tire made for passenger vehicles and SUVs. Ameritread offers a 50,000 mile treadwear warranty with this model.

The symmetric tread design and the all season compound work together to upgrade the dry, wet, and light winter-weather performance. The tread's siping placement increases the number of biting edges that grip the road, boosting surface traction. At the same time, the all season compound keeps the tire flexible throughout the year, in various temperatures. The circumferential grooves effectively eliminate water and slush from the footprint, resisting hydroplaning. All of these elements provide a safe year-round traction.

Additionally, the optimized tread design maintains continuous contact with the road, enhancing steering responsiveness and driving stability. In other words, the tire has a quicker and more precise steering response to the driver's commands, while the structure is secured against the driving pressure affecting the tire. Cornering and maneuvering are guaranteed, ensuring the driver has full control over the vehicle.

High speed performance is also provided with this model. The sturdy tire design doesn't allow the model to deform under high speed driving pressure, while the heat-resistant compound prevents the heat build-up on the tread area and averts blowouts. This combination helps increase the tire's overall driving safety.

The Ameritread Xtreme Grip keeps noise levels reduced at all times. The tread features a variable pitch sequence that reduces road noise in the vehicle's cabin. This sequence generates a sound frequency that cancels road and tread pattern noise out during the drive, resulting in a quiet, comfortable ride.

Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
