OVERVIEW

The Achilles Rugged Hawk is a rugged terrain, all season tire made for light trucks. Achilles offers a 50,000 mile treadwear warranty with this model.

The model enhances versatile terrain traction. The ideal tread design utilizes the biting edges provided in order to enhance the soft, loose, and uneven terrain grip. These elements provide the grip necessary to ensure the tire's forward motion throughout deep mud and loose terrains. The tread elements keep the footprint clean as well, by eliminating mud and snow and ejecting rocks. This is achieved with the mud and stone ejecting elements, which guarantees better damage resistance. Additionally, the ideal stable footprint also increases the tire's on-road traction and performance.

Excellent year-round traction is provided with this tire. The ideal tread design and the all season compound increase the tire's traction in dry, wet, and winter-weather conditions. In other words, the ideal tread pattern generates biting edges to increase road grip, while the silica compound keeps the rubber flexible in changing temperatures. At the same time, circumferential grooves effectively eliminate water and slush from the footprint. They resist hydroplaning and ensure the tire's safe performance, even on wet roads.

The reinforced internal structure and the durable rubber compound upgrade the model's load durability and damage resistance. The stronger casing works with the tread design and the compound blend to prevent tread and external damage. As a result, the tread's chipping, cracking, and tearing are avoided, while the casing is guarded against punctures, cuts, and impact damage. Furthermore, the casing also enhances the tire's load durability, as its shape does not deform under load pressure.

The Achilles Rugged Hawk's optimal block placement boosts its controllability. The stability of the aggressive footprint maintains surface contact at all times. This upgrades steering responsiveness and driving stability. Quick and precise steering responses are guaranteed, while the structure is secured against driving pressure as well. Their combination helps to improve the tire's handling and maneuvering throughout the performance.

Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
