Zenna ST Radial
FEATURES AND BENEFITS
- All weather traction
- Reinforced internal structure
- Enhanced controllability
- Fuel efficient trailer tire
OVERVIEW
The Zenna ST Radial is a highway terrain all season tire manufactured for trailers.
While trailer tires do not need as good a weather traction as the vehicle's towing them have, this tire model still offers excellent all weather road grip. The all season tire compound and the ribbed tread pattern design work together to ensure a safer dry, wet and winter weather traction. The traction is further improved with the hydroplaning resistance of the tread design. The wide circumferential grooves disperse water and slush from below the footprint and ensure a safer driving experience.
The tire's internal structure reinforces the tire's structure against the driving and load pressure. This tire is meant to be mounted on trailers only and it will not perform well on light truck vehicles. The construction features a full nylon overlay and wide twin steel belts that maintain the tire's optimal shape under the pressure affecting it. As a result, the tire does not deform during the drive and it is capable of handling heavier loads. The improved durability enables the tire to perform to its utmost capability and increases its following ability.
The special symmetric ribbed tread design keeps the model's road contact at all times. The wide slick shoulder ribs and the three detailed center ribs increase the road gripping ability and ensure a safer performance. This ensures a safer driving experience, as it upgrades the tire's controllability. Its response to the instructions of the towing vehicle become faster and more precise, while its structure is stabilized against the driving pressure affecting it during the drive.
The ST Radial was made from a unique tire compound. It is weather damage resistant. This, along with the prevention of irregular tread wear with the evenly distributed driving pressure, lengthen the tread life and the tire usability. This compound also manages to decrease the rolling resistance, lowering the vehicle's fuel consumption and CO2 emission. As a result, the tire becomes environmentally friendly and fuel efficient.
Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
