The sidewall was really stiff and the tire shop had difficulty mounting and seating the bead , However , I bought this tire because I needed the extra puncture protection in an area devastated by fire and the burnt ends of brush and trees had caused 6 flats in four days .
The tread is aggressive and in two wheel drive sinks and digs in, in dry DRY soil spinning dust up making me believe the increased strength resulted in reduced flotation . These tires also ride rougher but I figured they would , in rough terrain and solid footing these tires are really good and the tread pattern really grips , especially as heavy as the Kubota is .
There is no induced vibration from the tread pattern and the aggressive pattern drives well at all speeds on hard pack .
I am pleased with the purchase -for my needs -but the slight increase in diameter is noticeable , the increased weight is also noticeable in deep pasture grass , the hydrostatic drive works harder to push these through soft ground ,this is NOT a negative review because I knew there would be trade offs this is feedback for any other Kubota owners who need TOUGH TIRES and have grown weary of flats from fire sharpened sticks or sharp rocks , I REALLY LIKE THIS TIRE .
