Westlake WTL1
FEATURES AND BENEFITS
- All season traction
- Enhanced controllability
- Fuel-efficient performance
- Longer-lasting tread life
OVERVIEW
The Westlake WTL1 is a highway terrain, all season tire manufactured for commercial vehicles. This model was designed for the vehicle’s trailer axles.
The tire promotes exceptional all season traction. It combines the all season compound and the ribbed tread design in order to boost dry, wet, and winter grip. Stronger rubber materials keep the rubber flexibility, while the tread firmly grips the road surface. Additionally, circumferential grooves prevent hydroplaning in wet conditions. These improvements promote a secure drive throughout the year.
The traction created by the ribbed tread design and the stronger compound blend eases the pressure off the footprint. As a result, the tire is able to effectively lessen its rolling resistance, which is the pressure that determines the vehicle’s needed fuel intake levels. Lessening rolling resistance minimizes the towing vehicle’s fuel consumption and CO2 emissions, ensuring a fuel-efficient driving experience.
Better handling is also guaranteed with this model. The symmetric ribbed tread design and the flat footprint maintain surface contact, upgrading steering responsiveness and driving stability. The tire offers faster and more precise steering responses to the towing vehicle’s commands. It also secures structural stability throughout the performance, which also helps to prevent trailer swaying. This combination enables the tire’s secure driving experience.
The WTL1 combines the computer-optimized footprint and the wear-resistant compound. These elements increase the tire’s usability. Durable rubber materials used to manufacture this tire manage to significantly decrease the overall treadwear rate. On the other hand, the stable footprint’s even pressure circulation combats irregular wear formations. Their combination greatly improves the tire’s overall service life.
