Westlake CR960A
Westlake CR960A
FEATURES AND BENEFITS
- Fuel efficient model
- Enhanced controllability
- Improved load durability
OVERVIEW
The Westlake CR960A is a highway terrain, all season tire manufactured for commercial vehicles. It was made to be mounted on the trailer axle. This model also has some trailer tires as well.
The special tire compound not only ensures exceptional all weather traction, it also manages to lower the tire's rolling resistance. It prevents heat build-up during the drive, which eases the pressure off the tire. The rolling resistance is the pressure affecting the model which determines how much energy the vehicle needs to keep the tire in motion. The lower rolling resistance, in turn, decreases the vehicle's fuel consumption and CO2 emissions and slows the tread wear rate down. In other words, it makes the model more fuel efficient and environmentally friendly, while lengthening the tread life and the tire's usability.
The internal structure features twin steel belts. They improve the model's controllability, towing ability and damage resistance. They maintain the tire's road contact at all times, which improves the steering responsiveness and driving stability. As a result, the tire is easily controlled throughout the year, while its structure is stabilized against the driving pressure affecting it. The better stability increases the tire's towing capability as the tire does not wobble under the pressure. The stronger structure upgrades the damage resistance as well. It actively prevents punctures, cuts or bruises from harming the tire's casing.
The CR960A promotes a first-rate durability. The construction's strengthened full nylon cap boosts the model's load and driving durability. The nylon cap optimizes the tire's shape and prevents deformation under the driving and load pressure. The optimal tire shape enables the tire to carry and withstand heavy loads with ease, offering a versatile usability to the model.
