OVERVIEW
The Vitour VD35 is a highway terrain, all season tire manufactured for commercial trucks. This model is specially designed for the vehicle's drive axle.
This tire was designed with all weather traction in mind. It promotes a symmetric tread design that is densely populated with biting edges in the form of zigzag-edged tread blocks. With these square-shaped blocks, the tire seamlessly maintains a strong grip on the road surface in dry, wet, and winter weather conditions. The many circumferential and lateral grooves prevent hydroplaning by eliminating water, slush, and snow from the footprint.
The tread comes with a whole net of grooves that are highly effective against stone retention. They keep the footprint clean throughout the drive even on some more challenging road conditions. The whole tread is designed to prevent side slipping, which is why the tread blocks have such zigzag edges. The high-density grooves won't let the tire slip, not even on icy surfaces. They also eliminate rocks from the footprint, preventing them from getting stuck between the tread blocks. This greatly reduces the chance of stone drilling and consequently punctures.
The model boasts a long tread life, due to its strong rubber blend and special tread design. It boasts a deep and symmetric tread pattern that ensures longer mileage, with slow tread wear. Since the tread blocks form a completely flat footprint, the driving pressure is always evenly distributed. This results in uniform tread wear and minimizes the chance of irregular wear forming on the tread. The VD35's tread is non-directional and symmetric, which means it is going to evenly circulate the forces of braking, cornering, and acceleration.
