OVERVIEW
The Towmax STR II is a highway terrain, all season tire made for trailers. This tire is NOT MEANT TO BE MOUNTED ON LIGHT TRUCKS, as its construction will not support the weight and performing style of such vehicles. It can ONLY BE MOUNTED ON TRAILERS.
The tire offers great all season traction, optimizing its year-round performance. This exceptional performance is guaranteed with the combination of the tread design and the all season compound. Dry, wet, and winter grip is ensured. The sipes along the tread generate biting edges, which boost traction. On the other hand, the compound keeps the tire pliable in various temperatures. Grooves prevent hydroplaning as they help guide water and slush through the footprint, further increasing the tire’s wet grip.
The model’s controllability is also improved. The closer and better road contact upgrades steering responsiveness and driving stability. In other words, the tire is quicker and more precise in its response to the driver’s commands, while the structure is secured against driving pressure. Furthermore, the shoulder tread blocks provide additional biting edges to grip the road. This allows the tire to enhance its cornering and maneuvering, ensuring safer handling, as the tire guarantees a secure performance.
