OVERVIEW
The Supermax HT1-Plus is a highway terrain, all season tire designed for commercial vehicles. It is made for the vehicle’s trailer axle positions.
The ribs put a larger rubber area on the road, improving dry traction. The optimized grooves drain slush and water from beneath the tire. This secures road contact and stops hydroplaning. The siping details on the ribs create biting edges, for a better driving experience on snowy roads. The special compound keeps the rubber pliable, allowing the model to be used all year round.
The specific tread design offers continual contact with the road. In other words, the tire provides better steering responses to the towing vehicle’s instructions. The ribbed pattern also boosts structural integrity. This helps to maintain the model’s shape, which also stabilizes the footprint, increasing the towing stability and the overall balance while driving. As a result, the swaying of the vehicle is reduced.
The Supermax HT1-Plus sports a radial construction. It makes the model sturdy enough to resist deformation under heavy loads. This is achieved with the internal reinforcements that enable equal pressure circulation along the tire’s circumference. As such, there is no pressure build-up on the tread area, minimizing its flexing and enhancing the tire’s load durability.
