OVERVIEW

The Sumitomo Touring LX T is a touring all season tire manufactured for crossover vehicles and SUVs. The tire is the T speed rated version of the Sumitomo Touring LX model. Sumitomo offers a 50,000 mile treadwear warranty with this model.

The tread design enhances the all weather traction. The wide tire footprint and the all season carbon black compound work together to ensure a secure dry, wet and winter weather road gripping ability. The carbon black compound maintains its flexibility and traction in wet and colder temperature winter conditions as well, while the individual tread elements increase the road grip all year round. The wide circumferential and high-angle grooves disperse water and slush from the footprint to effectively resist hydroplaning to ensure a safer wet weather traction.

The constantly maintained road contact upgrades the model's controllability. The tread design's center rib maintains road contact at all times to enhance the steering responsiveness and driving stability. The tire's road contact improves the steering's accuracy and response time and stabilizes the structure during the drive. The model's cornering and maneuvering ability is also increased with the higher number of biting edges of the shoulder tread blocks. The better cornering ability and handling enables the driver to confidently control the vehicle in all weather.

The Touring LX T offers a comfortable drive. The internal structure features a polyester casing and the Jointless Nylon Band that strengthen the structure. The Jointless Nylon band prevents the structure's deformation under the driving pressure affecting the tire, while the polyester casing enables the tire to closely follow the road surface. The maintained road contact manages to decrease the road vibrations felt in the vehicle's cabin, offering a comfortable and enjoyable driving experience.
