The Sumitomo ST900 is a highway terrain, all season tire manufactured for commercial vehicles. It was made to be mounted on the vehicle's drive axle. The stronger tire compound prevents the tread's chipping, cracking and tearing, while the tread design avoids stone retention. The reinforced all steel casing maintains the ideal tire shape under the pressure, boosting the load durability. It also helps enhance the steering responsiveness and the driving stability. The ST900 upgrades the year round performance, maximizing the road traction and the hydroplaning resistance.

The tire upgrades the year round performance.

The all season compound and the optimal block placement increase the dry, wet and winter weather traction. The compound keeps the rubber flexibility in various temperatures by reinforcing the rubber compound elements. The larger tread block placement increases the grip on the road surface. The tread design's wide groove pattern and open shoulder placement upgrades the hydroplaning resistance by channeling water and slush from the footprint. In this manner, the tire guarantees a secure all weather performance.

The ideal construction and the tread block placement enhance the heavy load durability and the controllability.

The all steel casing manages to maintain the ideal tire shape under the load and driving pressure. As the steel casing does not deform under the pressure, it allows the tire to carry and withstand heavy loads throughout the performance. This construction also allows the tire to upgrade the surface contact during the drive. As a result, the tire manages to upgrade the steering responsiveness and the driving stability, increasing the driver's control over the vehicle.

The ST900 promotes a damage resistant performance.

The stronger compound protects the tire from tread damage. It reinforces the tire against tread chipping, cracking and tearing. On the other hand, the tread design's high void ratio manages to eliminate the rocks stuck between the tread elements. As rocks cannot lodge between the tread elements, it allows the tire to effectively prevent stone retention. The model's all steel casing protects the tire from punctures and impact damage as well. This prevents damage from causing the tire's downtime, optimizing the service life.
