OVERVIEW

The Sumitomo ST918 is a highway terrain all season tire manufactured for commercial vehicles. It was made to be mounted on the vehicle's drive axle.

The tire ensures excellent all weather traction. The ribbed tread design with the closed tread pattern, siping detail and zigzag circumferential grooves boost the dry, wet and winter weather road gripping ability. The maintained road contact improves the tire's performance in all weather. The zigzag circumferential grooves prevent hydroplaning by eliminating water and slush from below the tire's footprint. The all weather traction and hydroplaning resistance ensure a secure year round performance.

The model's internal structure features a full steel belt casing that maintains the optimal tire shape at all times. It reinforces the tire's shape against the driving and load pressure affecting the tires and maintains the optimal shape throughout the drive. The constant road contact improves the tire's load carrying and withstanding durability. The stronger structure also stabilizes the tire's structure while the tires are in motion.
