OVERVIEW

The Sumitomo ST727 is a highway terrain, all season tire manufactured for commercial vehicles. It was made to be mounted on the vehicle's trailer axle.

The tire ensures excellent all weather traction. The five-rib tread pattern with the wide circumferential grooves and the rib siping increase the dry, wet and winter weather road gripping ability. The tread elements find firm grip in all weather, while the durable tire compound resists the harmful effects of the different conditions to ensure great flexibility throughout the year. The wide grooves actively resist hydroplaning by dispersing water and slush from below the tire's footprint. The combination of the better road gripping ability and the excellent hydroplaning resistance ensures a secure year round driving experience.

The longer lasting tread life is the result of the special tire compound and tread design. The durable tire compound prevents the scuffing and other similar damages from harming the tire's compound while the tire is in motion. This ensures a longer tread life by actively resisting damage from harming the tire's tread area and shortening its life. The ribbed pattern manages to evenly distribute the driving pressure along the tread area. The equally spread out forces of acceleration, cornering and braking increase the tread life's length by preventing irregular tread wear formations across the tread area.

The ST727 ensures exceptional durability. The four steel belt reinforced casing internal structure prevents the deformation of the tire's shape while the tires are in motion.
