OVERVIEW

The Sumitomo ST719 is a highway terrain, all season tire manufactured for commercial vehicles. It was made to be mounted on the vehicle in all axle positions.

The tire promotes a lengthened tread life. The durable tire compound and the tread design work together to improve the tread life and usability. The compound is wear-resistant and it actively prevents scrubbing on high-scrub applications, while also resisting punctures and cuts from harming the tread elements. The symmetric ribbed tread design's flat footprint optimizes the tire's road contact and ensures even driving pressure distribution. The equally circulated forces of acceleration, cornering and braking avoids the formations of irregular tread wear along the tread area. The damage resistance and longer tread life boost the tire's service life.

The tread pattern promotes an excellent self-cleaning capability. The circumferential grooves feature stone ejectors that eliminate rocks stuck between the tread elements. This actively prevents stone retention from drilling into the tire's casing and damaging it. Furthermore, this tread design also disperses mud and snow from the grooves, keeping the tire's footprint clean at all times. The clean footprint ensures the tire's traction throughout its performance.
