OVERVIEW
The Sumitomo ST718 is a highway terrain all season tire manufactured for commercial vehicles. The tire is intended to be mounted on the vehicle's steer axle.
The model ensures excellent all weather traction. The special five-rib tread design with the closed shoulder pattern enhances the dry, wet and winter weather road gripping ability. In this manner, the tread design ensures a secure performance in all conditions. The wide circumferential tread grooves prevent hydroplaning by eliminating water and slush from below the tire's footprint. The better hydroplaning resistance and all weather traction boosts the tire's year round performance.
The ribbed tread design's constant road contact increases the tire's controllability. It enables the tire to closely follow the road surface, which upgrades the steering responsiveness and driving stability.
