OVERVIEW
The Sumitomo ST709 is a highway terrain, all season tire manufactured for commercial vehicles. It was made to be mounted on the vehicle in all axle positions.
The tire improves the all weather traction. The symmetric ribbed tread design and the all season tire compound boost the dry, wet and winter weather traction. The symmetric pattern's firm road grip upgrades the number of biting edges gripping the road surface, while the compound increases the rubber flexibility in various temperatures. The groove pattern avoids hydroplaning, as the wide grooves disperse water and slush from below the footprint. This combination increases the year round driving safety levels.
The model extends the usability. The tread's ribbed pattern maintains the surface contact and allows the model to evenly distribute the driving pressure along the tread area.
