OVERVIEW

The Sumitomo ST520 is a highway terrain, all season tire manufactured for commercial vehicles. It was made to be mounted on the vehicle in all axle positions.

The tread design and the all season compound improve the all weather traction. The symmetric ribbed pattern improves the grip on dry, wet and winter weather conditions. The optimal block placement and the ideal surface contact improve the grip on various terrain surface conditions. The durable tire compound keeps the rubber flexibility in various temperatures, from the heat of summer to colder winter conditions. The tread's wider zigzag circumferential grooves prevent hydroplaning by dispersing water and slush from below the footprint, maintaining the tire's surface contact and enhancing the driving safety levels.

The model features a four steel belt reinforced construction. This allows the tire to maintain the ideal tire shape under the load and driving pressure affecting the model. In this manner, the tire is able to carry and withstand heavy loads with ease, which significantly improves the load capacity. The strengthened structure also stabilizes the tire during its performance against the driving pressure.
