Sumitomo HTR Z II

Summer

Passenger

High Performance

The Sumitomo HTR Z II is a high performance, summer tire manufactured for passenger vehicles. The tire offers great summer weather traction with the compound and the tread design. The grooves prevent hydroplaning. The tread design's constant surface contact upgrades the controllability, while the internal structure optimizes the high speed performing durability. The Jointless Nylon Band not only improves the high speed drive, but it also helps lower the road vibrations felt in the vehicle's cabin. The HTR Z II protects the rims from accidental curb damage and it offers a better fit on the wheels.

Features

Summer Tire

The ultra-micro carbon and silica compound and the optimally smooth tread design boost the dry and wet traction.

Hydroplaning

The single circumferential and numerous shoulder grooves disperse water to prevent hydroplaning during the drive.

Handling

The directional tread design and the flat footprint improve the driving stability and the steering responsiveness.

Performance

The strengthened steel belt construction and the heat-resistant tread design enable the tire's safer high speed performance.

Rim Guard

The Single Strand Bead optimizes the wheel fit, while the Wheel Flange Guards protect the rims from curb damage.

Comfortable Drive

The Jointless Nylon Band reinforcement optimizes the surface contact, which minimizes the road vibrations felt.
