OVERVIEW

The Sumitomo HTR Enhance LX2 is a touring, all season tire manufactured for passenger vehicles and SUVs. This model also has some high performance, W speed rated sizes. Sumitomo offers a 50,000 mile treadwear warranty with the W speed rated models, a 75,000 mile treadwear warranty with the H and V speed rated models and a 90,000 mile treadwear warranty with the T speed rated models.

The asymmetric tread design works together with the silica compound to boost the all weather traction. They enhance the tire's grip on the dry, wet and winter weather road surfaces. The detailed siping pattern of the asymmetric ribbed pattern enhances the number of biting edges gripping the road surface, with additional biting edges, while the compound's silica elements secure the rubber flexibility in versatile temperatures. The circumferential grooves prevent hydroplaning by dispersing water and slush from below the footprint, maintaining the surface contact and further improving the wet and slushy surface traction.

The model's optimal surface contact patch improves the length of the tread life. The ideal surface contact of the ribbed pattern enables the tire to evenly distribute the driving pressure along the tread area.
