The compound is wear-resistant and it slows the tread wear rate down significantly, while the symmetric tread design manages to evenly distribute the driving pressure along the tread area. The equally spread out forces of acceleration, cornering and braking avoids uneven wear formations, extending the tread life. The tread grooves feature special stone ejecting knobs that clean out rocks stuck between the tread elements to actively prevent stone retention from harming the casing and shortening the tread and service life.
