The Pirelli Scorpion ATR is an all season, all terrain tire manufactured for SUV, crossover, pickup and light truck vehicles, depending on the tire's load index. Pirelli offer a 50,000 mile treadwear warranty with this tire model.
This model offers excellent all weather traction. The tire compound and the tread pattern grip the road well in dry, wet and winter weather conditions. Also due to the tread pattern is its resistance to hydroplaning, as the tread grooves disperse water and mud from below the footprint of the tire. It's safer to use year-round thanks to its superb traction and its resistance to hydroplaning.
The tire resists the hardest shocks, easily conquers uneven and loose surfaces and is reliable to use on gravel and mud. Its all terrain traction enables the tire to be used on all sorts of road surfaces, both on-and off-road. The great all-surface grip is always maintained as the tread design is self-cleaning. The large tread blocks disperse rocks and it cleans out mud and snow stuck in the grooves. As the tread is clean it does not lose its traction.
