The Pirelli P4 Four Seasons Plus is a touring, all season tire manufactured for passenger vehicles and SUVs. Pirelli offers a 90,000 mile treadwear warranty.
The tire's special high silica compound provides superb all weather traction. Its variable angle grooves increase the dry, wet and winter weather road gripping ability by ensuring better road grip all year. The silica-enriched compound stays flexible even in colder temperatures and it maintains its road gripping ability. The tread pattern's center area features two wide circumferential grooves that increase the wet weather traction and actively avoid hydroplaning with their water and slush evacuating ability. The better road gripping ability and traction allow a safer driving experience.
The silica-enhanced tire compound ensures a more fuel efficient and environmentally friendly drive. It lowers the rolling resistance, which determines how much energy the vehicle needs to maintain motion, due to the better all weather traction. This decreases the vehicle's fuel consumption and CO2 emissions significantly, making the tire more energy conscious. The reduced rolling resistance also slows the tread wear down, by easing the pressure off of the tread.
