OVERVIEW
The Pirelli P Zero Rosso Direzionale is a high performance, summer tire manufactured for passenger vehicles and SUVs.
This tire has remarkable dry and wet weather traction and it grips the road well in all summer weather conditions. It is, however, not recommended for use in winter weather as it does not have good winter traction. The tire's four wide circumferential grooves eliminate water from below the footprint, improving the wet traction and the hydroplaning resistance. This makes the model safer to use in potentially hazardous situations.
This model's improved traction, enhanced by the silica-based tire compound, also reduces its rolling resistance. The lowered rolling resistance slows down the tread wear of the tire, extending its life while also lessening the vehicle's fuel consumption and, in turn, its CO2 emissions. The tire is more cost- and fuel-efficient because of this, as well as environmentally friendly.
The tire's reinforced sidewall and its reduced weight improve its driving stability at high speeds. This stability, along with the special directional tread pattern, increases the tire's steering responsiveness. The heightened responsiveness increases the steering precision, which makes the tire easier to control. As the tire responds quickly and accurately to the commands of the driver, it is able to provide excellent road feedback as well. Therefore, the tire's handling becomes almost effortless.
The P Zero Rosso Direzionale provides a quiet and comfortable drive. The wide grooves in the tread pattern reduce the road noise heard in the cabin of the vehicle by channeling the soundwaves through the tire's footprint.
