OVERVIEW
The Pirelli Cinturato P7 Seal Inside is a high performance summer tire manufactured for sport coupes and sedans.
This tire was manufactured with Pirelli's Seal Inside Technology. This allows continued mobility in case of a puncture as the sealing layer immediately seals the puncture in the tire, preventing air loss. According to the manufacturer, this technology covers almost 85% of the possible accidents that cause air pressure loss. When an object punctures the tire, the sealing mastic sticks to it and creates a seal around it when it remains in the tire. When the object is removed, the sealing mastic is drawn by the object into the hole, sealing away the puncture of the tire. This seal acts like a plug in the tire, allowing the driver to use the tire until it gets professionally repaired.
This tire offers superb dry and wet weather traction, but this model is not recommended for use in winter weather and in lower temperatures. The tire's tread design and summer tire compound grip the road in dry and wet weather conditions, while the four circumferential grooves channel water from the tire's footprint and resist dangerous hydroplaning. This makes the driving experience safer.
This tire is also very fuel conscious. Pirelli's EcoImpact Technology lowers the weight of the tire with its special compound, which, in turn, decreases the rolling resistance. This lessens the vehicle's fuel consumption and CO2 emissions, as the vehicle uses less energy when functioning. The lowered rolling resistance, with the asymmetric tread pattern, also offers a longer lasting tread life as it forces the tire to wear out evenly and decreases the wear rate.
The tire's tread pattern is specially designed. The arranged angles in the pattern provide a smooth and comfortable driving experience as they reduce the road noise heard in the cabin of the vehicle.
