The stronger construction maintains the ideal tire shape under the pressure in case of air pressure loss. Once air pressure loss occurs, due to a puncture or other damage, the reinforced structure enables the tire to be driven on for 50 miles up to 50 mph. This limited, temporary performance prevents the tire from being stranded on the side of the road, and, instead, it can be driven on a nearby location where the damaged tire can be fixed or changed. These tires are made for vehicles without space for spare tires. They cannot be mixed together with regular tries on the same vehicle.
