OVERVIEW
The OTR P819 is a highway terrain, all season tire made for trailers. This tire is NOT MEANT TO BE MOUNTED ON LIGHT TRUCKS, as its construction will not support the weight and performing style of such vehicles. It can ONLY BE MOUNTED ON TRAILERS.
The optimal tread pattern improves the tire's overall controllability and towing stability. They increase steering responsiveness and stability, by maintaining surface contact. It boosts the steering response time and accuracy to the towing vehicle's commands, while the structure is stabilized against the driving pressure affecting it. Better stability also boosts the tire's overall towing safety as it avoids trailer swaying. This significantly enhances the overall towing safety levels.
Great year-round performance is promoted with this tread design and all season compound. They work together to improve dry, wet, and winter performance. In other words, the ribbed tread pattern can easily maintain consistent surface contact, while the all season compound keeps the rubber flexible in different temperatures. On the other hand, large, zigzag grooves eliminate water and slush from the footprint and resist hydroplaning. They protect the tire from slipping in wet situations.
