The Ohtsu ST5000 is a touring, all season tire manufactured for passenger vehicles and SUVs. This model has some highway terrain, light truck sizes too. The tire's all weather traction and hydroplaning resistance are the result of the special tread design. Its solid center rib boosts the steering responsiveness and driving stability greatly. The variable pitch sequence negates the road noise, while the internal structure reduces the road vibrations felt to promote a comfortable driving experience. The ST5000 offers a longer lasting tread life with the prevention of irregular tread wear formations.
The all season compound and symmetric tread design, along with the full depth design and high angle lateral grooves boost the all weather traction.
The four wide circumferential grooves and the high angle lateral grooves effectively resist hydroplaning by eliminating water and slush from the footprint.
The tread design's solid center rib maintains constant road contact and greatly upgrades the steering responsiveness and driving stability.
The tire's three-two tread pitch sequence negates the road noise heard in the vehicle's cabin that was generated while the tires were in motion.
