OVERVIEW
The Nokian Tyres WR C3 is a highway terrain, all weather tire manufactured for commercial vans and light trucks. This tire is suitable for electric vehicles.
The tire promotes a safe year-round performance. The tire utilizes its stronger compound blend and detailed tread area to achieve this. They work together to enable the tire’s performance in dry, wet, and even harsh winter conditions. The tread’s sipes generate biting edges that boost traction. On the other hand, the compound maintains flexibility throughout the year. Grooves resist hydroplaning by channeling water and slush from the footprint.
The tread's close road contact upgrades the controllability. The tread's center rib maintains the tire's surface contact during the drive. It enables the tire to improve the steering responsiveness and the driving stability. The steering response time and accuracy to the driver's commands, while the structure is stabilized against the driving pressure affecting the model. This commercial tire also provides excellent load durability. The reinforced construction boosts the load and driving pressure durability by maintaining the ideal tire shape under the load and driving pressure affecting the model. This significantly increases the load carrying and withstanding ability and power, boosting the all weather performing ability and power.
The stronger traction manages to ease the pressure off the tire, lowering its rolling resistance. The rolling resistance is the driving pressure affecting the model, that determines the vehicle's needed fuel intake to keep the tires in motion. Lowering the rolling resistance reduces the vehicle's fuel consumption and CO2 emission levels, offering a fuel efficient and environmentally friendly driving experience.
The WR C3's tread features Nokian Tyres Driving Safety and Winter Safety Indicators. The Driving Safety Indicator (DSI) placed numbers corresponding to the tread in 32nds of an inch on the tread's center rib. These numbers wear away with the tread and, as a result, they visually portray the tread wear rate along the tread area. The Winter Safety Indicator (WSI) places a snowflake on the tread. This snowflake represents the tire's winter weather performing ability. As the tread wears out, the snowflake will eventually wear away as well. The tire maintains its winter traction as long as the snowflake is visible on its tread. When it wears out and is no longer visible, the tire should not be driven in winter conditions. These indicators ensure a safer performing ability and driving safety in this manner.
All weather tires receive the three mountain peak and snowflake (3PMS) symbol for their exceptional winter weather performance. They are all season tires with extra winter weather grip, in order to guarantee safer year-round durability. This ensures their true and secure driving ability throughout the year.
Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
