The Nitto NT555 Extreme ZR is a high performance, summer tire manufactured for passenger vehicles and SUVs.
The tire compound and tread pattern work together to enhance the model's summer weather road gripping ability. The directional tread design and advanced high-tech tread compound increase the dry and wet weather traction and ensure a safe driving experience. The three wide circumferential grooves and the angled lateral grooves actively avoid hydroplaning situations by eliminating water from beneath the tire footprint. The tire is not meant to be used in winter conditions as the tire compound does not maintain its optimal road grip in colder winter temperatures.
