Nitto NT05R

Summer

Racing

High Performance

The Nitto NT05R is a high performance, summer tire manufactured for racing vehicles. It is a D.O.T. approved tire made to be mounted on the racing vehicle's rear axle. The R-compound and the tread's larger surface contact area increase the model's traction during the race. This enables the tire to securely perform at its utmost high speed capability. The wider, smooth center area of the tread improves the acceleration and the model's maneuvering on the race track. The NT05R features reinforced sidewalls that prevent lateral distortion under the high speed driving pressure, enabling the tire's exceptional high speed performing capability.

Features

Traction

The racing-inspired R-compound and the semi-smooth tread design boost the tire's grip for a safer and better high speed traction.

Handling

The wider and smooth center tread area increases the surface contact which accelerates the tire's controllability and maneuvering.

Performance

The reinforced sidewall construction maintains the ideal tire shape under the high speed driving pressure affecting the model.
