The Nitto NT01 is a high performance, radial racing summer tire, recommended for dry competition use. The tire promotes great dry and wet traction, but on the race track it is not recommended to use it in wet weather. The optimal compound enhances the dry performance and prevents heat-build up, which along with the reinforced internal structure enhances high speed performing capability. The stronger rayon carcass and the strengthened sidewalls avoid deformation, which upgrades the controllability and driving stability. The wide footprint boosts the cornering and braking capability. The NT01 is DOT approved to be used on the race track.
