The Mickey Thompson Deegan 38 All Terrain is an all terrain all season tire manufactured for sport utility and light truck vehicles. Mickey Thompson offers a 55,000 mile treadwear warranty with the LT sizes and a 60,000 mile treadwear warranty of the SUV sizes of this model.

The tire promotes excellent all weather traction. Th silica-based tire compound and special tread design increase the dry, wet and winter weather road gripping ability by finding firm grip on the different weather road surfaces. The deep tread grooves prevent hydroplaning by channeling water and slush away from the tire's footprint. The tread edge chafers and the variable draft angles increase the snow dispersing ability in order to keep the tire's footprint clean constantly and ensure constant road contact. The combination of these enhancements guarantees a safer year round driving experience.

The model performs well both on and off-road, making it very versatile in its use. The two-pitch SideBiter located on the tire's sidewalls and the angled shoulder scallops allow the tire to conquer all soft, loose and uneven surfaces.
