OVERVIEW
The Mickey Thompson Baja Claw TTC is a mud terrain, all season tire manufactured for light trucks.
The tire upgrades the mud terrain performance. The aggressive tread design with the staggered block placement, the siping placement and the high void ratio manages to enhance the soft, loose and uneven terrain gripping ability. The large block placement with the siping detail provides additional biting edges gripping the terrain surface. The tread design also keeps the footprint clean by utilizing the tread's self-cleaning ability. The staggered blocks and the high void ratio keep a clean footprint by eliminating mud and snow from between the elements. This prevents them from blocking the surface contact during the tire's performance. The better surface contact enhances the overall safer driving experience.
The self-cleaning tread design and the durable construction boosts the damage resistance. The self-cleaning pattern prevents stone retention as well. The tread ejects rocks stuck between the tread elements, resisting them from drilling into the tread area and preventing damage to the casing. This minimizes the tire's service life throughout the drive. The strengthened casing structure allows the tire to improve the puncture and the impact damage as well. The internal structure protects the tire from harsher off-road terrain surface conditions. This combination ensures the tire's exceptional driving security on rough terrains.
The optimal tread design features a flat footprint which helps increase the controllability. The flat footprint and the adequate traction upgrade the steering responsiveness and the driving stability. In this manner, the steering response is quicker and more precise, while the structure is stabilized against the driving and load pressure affecting the drive. The internal structure's maintained ideal shape helps improve the load and driving durability. The tire does not deform under the load and driving pressure, which enhances the load carrying and withstanding capability. This also boosts the overall load capacity as well.
The Baja Claw TTC also offers great all weather traction as well. The all season compound and the optimized tread pattern improve the dry, wet and winter weather road gripping ability. The compound keeps the rubber flexibility in versatile temperatures, while the tread elements increase the grip on the road surface throughout the year. This enables the tire to enhance the year round driving security.
The intended purpose of Mud Terrain tire types is off-road use. They are not designed for regular highway driving.
