OVERVIEW

The Michelin XTE2 is a highway terrain, all season tire manufactured for commercial vehicles. This model was made to be mounted on the vehicle's trailer axle.

The tire is able to greatly boost the all season traction. The stronger, all season compound and the ribbed tread design, with the sipe and groove placement, manages to enhance the dry, wet, and winter weather grip on the road surface. The tread elements firmly grip the road surface with additional biting edges. The zigzag groove pattern disperses water and slush from the footprint in wet conditions, effectively avoiding hydroplaning in the process. This results in a better year round traction.

Fuel efficiency is also guaranteed thanks to the tread design and the all season traction. This combination allows the tire to ease the driving pressure off the tire during the drive. The tire lowers the rolling resistance, which is the pressure affecting the tire which determines the vehicle's fuel intake needed. This allows the model to minimize the towing vehicle's fuel consumption and CO2 emission levels. The result is a fuel conscious and environmentally friendly driving experience.
