OVERVIEW
The Michelin XDE2+ is a highway terrain, all season tire manufactured for commercial vehicles. This model was created for the drive axle.
This model combines the wear-resistant compound with a stable footprint in order to upgrade its usability. The ribbed block placement's surface contact and its tread flexing resistance allow the tire to evenly circulate the driving pressure across the footprint. In this manner, the tire avoids irregular wear formations. Additionally, the stronger compound avoids premature wear as well. The wear-resistant compound guarantees slower wear, further boosting the tire's service life.
Exceptional all season traction is guaranteed with the tread design and stronger compound. They are able to effectively increase its dry, wet, and winter grip. The ribbed block placement, with the sipe and groove detail, generates extra biting edges, further upgrading the tire's surface traction. On the other hand, the compound is able to keep the tire pliable throughout the year. Circumferential grooves and open shoulder detail disperse water and slush from the footprint, preventing hydroplaning in the process.
The XDE2+ features a reinforced internal structure. The construction features a full-width protector ply, rectangular bead bundles, and an optimal belt structure. All of these structural elements work together to maintain the ideal tire shape under load and driving pressure. This allows the tire to significantly enhance the tire's overall load capacity, making it an excellent choice for commercial applications.
