OVERVIEW
The Michelin X Radial LT2 is a highway terrain, all season tire manufactured for SUVs and light trucks. Michelin offers a 70,000 mile tread wear warranty with this model.
The tire model offers exceptional all weather traction and road gripping ability in dry, wet and winter weather. The deep tread grooves are present all across the tread area. Even in winter temperatures the tire maintains its superb road gripping ability and does not lose its traction. The deep tread grooves prevent dangerous hydroplaning situations by eliminating water from below the tire footprint. This enhances the tire's year round safety.
The internal structure features three steel belts that increase its toughness. This does not allow the tire to deform under the driving pressure and the load pressure, making the drive more secure. The internal structure and the pressure-weighted tire contact patch allow the model to withstand and transport heavy loads. The better load carrying ability offers more versatility to the tire and allows it to perform to its highest capability.
The special Max Touch Construction optimized the tire's road contact patch. The optimized footprint equally distributed the driving pressure across the tread area and, with it, prevents irregular wear patterns from forming on the tire. The longer lasting, even wear enables the tire to be used for a longer period of time, extending its tread life.
The X Radial LT2 offers a comfortable and quiet driving experience. The Comfort Control Technology lowers the road noise and the vibrations by allowing the tire to constantly and closely follow the road surface.
