OVERVIEW
The Michelin Primacy 3 is a performance and high performance, summer tire manufactured for passenger vehicles. Michelin offers a 45,000 mile warranty with H and V speed rated sizes of this model.
This summer tire offers excellent dry and wet weather traction, but it will not perform well in winter conditions and lower temperatures. The tire's circumferential grooves help channel water from beneath the footprint, enhancing its resistance to dangerous hydroplaning.
Michelin's Green X Technology reduces the tire's rolling resistance, which, in turn, lowers the vehicle's CO2 emissions and fuel consumption. This makes the tire environmentally friendly and economically efficient. The lowered rolling resistance, with the Max Touch Construction, also increases the tire's tread life. The lessened rolling resistance slows the wear rate of the tire down, while the Max Touch Technology equally distributes the force of acceleration, braking and cornering on the contact surface of the tire, preventing irregular wear.
The new compound used in its manufacture allows the tire to have improved steering response and performance in wet road conditions. This advanced tire compound also allows the tire to stop shorter on both dry and wet road conditions. This makes the driving experience safer and enables easier handling over the tire.
The Primacy 3 offers a quiet and comfortable drive with the Comfort Control Technology. This reduces the vibrations as well as the road noise heard in the cabin of the vehicle for increased driving comfort.
