The Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 ZP is a high performance, summer tire made for racing cars.
The model promotes great summer traction. In this manner, the asymmetric tread pattern maintains the road contact at all times in the summer season. The special compound protects the tire and prevents heat build-up along the tread area in warmer temperatures. These elements enable the tire's excellent performance in dry and wet conditions. The large circumferential grooves resist hydroplaning in wet situations, guaranteeing a safe performance even in wet conditions.
The asymmetric tread pattern and the close road contact boost steering responsiveness and driving stability. In other words, the steering response time is faster and more precise to the driver's instructions while the structure is stabilized against driving pressure. Also, cornering and braking are also upgraded with this tread pattern. The large shoulder blocks firmly grip the road surface with extra biting edges, while the siping detail shortens the braking distance by creating friction at the moment of the braking. This combination gives the driver full control over the vehicle.
The reinforced internal structure enables the support of the weight of the vehicle and the passengers temporarily after the loss of air pressure. In case of external damage, the tire can be driven on for 50 miles up to 50 mph, which allows the driver to safely perform to the destination where they can change or repair the tire. Run flat tires are made with heavier constriction than regular ones, so they cannot be mounted on the same vehicle as regular tires.

If it is placed after 1 pm EST or over the weekend, we will ship the order out the following business day. Depending where you are located in the 48 contiguous states, our shipping courier will take approximately 1-6 business days to deliver the tires to you from any of our four main warehouses located in Pennsylvania, Texas, and Florida and/or our smaller warehouses which are located across the country.
Due to the nature of shipping, packages may be separated at the shipping courier's facility and not delivered on the same day, even though shipped together. You'll receive a master tracking number via email to check on the courier's website for updates. For instance, you may receive 3 tires on one day and the 4th on the following day, or one tire one day and another the day after. We understand this may be inconvenient at times but it's beyond our control.
