The Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3 is a performance and high performance, all season tire manufactured for passenger vehicles and SUVs. The high level silica compound allows the tire to reduce its braking distance. This also provides better traction in all weather conditions, while the Helio-compound helps in cold weather handling. The wide grooves in the tread pattern help resist hydroplaning in deeper water, making the Pilot Sport A/S 3 that much safer as an ultra-high performance all season tire model.
The Variable Contact Patch 2.0 and the aggressive asymmetric tread pattern work together to provide great dry management and endurance.
The sunflower oil improved Helio Technology tire compound preserves edges and improves traction in wet and snowy conditions.
The braking distance is reduced with the silica-enhanced tread compound, resulting in the better wet and dry grip.
The variable thickness sipes offer improved road grip and traction in both wet and winter weather.
The tire's tread grooves grip the road more easily and the acceleration and breaking in the snow have been improved.
The wide grooves on the sides of the tread help avoid hydroplaning, reduce the wet braking distance and improve wet surface traction.
