OVERVIEW
The Michelin LTX A/T is an all terrain, all season tire manufactured for sport utility vehicles and trucks.
The tire promotes exceptional all terrain performance. The special tread pattern with the large tread blocks and wide grooves find firm grip on all soft, loose and uneven surfaces. The traction is further increased with the Biting Edges technology that increases the road gripping ability with the staggered tread blocks. They also prevent stone retention and maintain a clean footprint by cleaning out mud and snow and ejecting rocks stuck between the tread elements. The constantly clean footprint and excellent road grip ensure a safer driving experience both on and off-road.
The tread design features large staggered tread blocks, wide circumferential grooves and numerous lateral notches. They improve the dry, wet and winter weather road gripping ability and guarantee a more secure year round performance. The wide grooves prevent hydroplaning as well by dispersing water and slush from below the tire's footprint. The constantly clean tread area allows the tire to keep its road contact at all times, guaranteeing first-rate traction and driving safety.
The model offers a longer lasting tread life. The MaxTouch technology improves the tread life and usability by preventing irregular wear formations across the tread area. This is achieved as the technology manages to evenly distribute the forces of acceleration, cornering and braking along the tire's surface. The tire's reinforced structure and sturdy tire compound also make it resistant to damage. They avoid accidental punctures, cuts and abrasions that can harm the tire, while the tread's self-cleaning nature prevents stone retention.
