OVERVIEW
The Michelin LTX A/S is a highway terrain, all season tire made for SUVs and light trucks. Michelin offers a 60,000 mile treadwear warranty with this tire model.
The tire's longer lasting tread life is the result of the MaxTouch Technology. This technology enables the equal distribution of the force of accelerating, braking and cornering on the tire's tread and road contact area, evenly dividing the stress and pressure across the tire. This equal pressure prevents irregular wear and makes the tire's tread life last longer. The even distribution of the stress and load on the tire, due to the Stress Equilibrium Casing (S.E.C.) boosts the tire's all weather traction as well.
This model provides great year-round traction and grips the road well, even in light winter conditions. This excellent traction is the result of its specially designed tread pattern that maintains good grip in all weather. This model also resists dangerous hydroplaning, as the circumferential tread grooves eliminate water from beneath the tire. This makes driving on this tire safer and more efficient, since it does not lose its traction.
The wide tread groove design on the tire improves its steering responsiveness and gives the driver a precise road feel. This same design also enhances the tire's high speed stability. Its stability, however, is also due to the three-steel-belt reinforcement in the tire's sidewall which boosts the tire's heavy load capacity, offering the endurance and strength to handle such weights.
The LTX A/S was made with Michelin's EnergySaver Construction to reduce its rolling resistance. This, in turn, lowers the fuel consumption and CO2 emissions of the vehicle, making this an energy conscious and environmentally friendly tire.
- Fast and Free Shipping
If an order is placed before 1 pm EST on a business day we ship the order the same day.
If it is placed after 1 pm EST or over the weekend, we will ship the order out the following business day. Due to the nature of shipping, packages may be separated at the shipping courier's facility and not delivered on the same day, even though shipped together.
